Supergroup Stockholm Syndrome is hitting the road again this week, supported by hard-rocking Austin trio Ume

This will mark Stockholm Syndrome’s first tour of the East Coast since the release of their sophomore record, “Apollo,” which came out this year on Response Records. “Apollo” was the long-awaited follow-up to the band’s 2004 debut studio album, “Holy Happy Hour.” Fans can expect to hear the new tunes as well as some old favorites, in addition to a handful of carefully chosen covers.

Ume (pronounced ooo-may) has built a reputation as one of indie rock’s heaviest live bands. The band, which features married couple Eric and Lauren Larson on guitar, bass and vocals and Rachel Fuhrer on drums, has already earned high praises from critics and fans alike. Ume’s first full-length album “Phantoms,” is set for release August 30th.
